Abu Dhabi Police arrested four people and seized 573,000 Captagon pills in a drugs haul.

Col Taher Al Dhaheri, director of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police, said they received a tip-off about the gang’s intentions to sell the narcotics in the Emirates.

The group was run by a person living outside the UAE.

“The plan was to catch all the members of the gang at the same time to prevent anyone ‎from escaping punishment,” said Col Al Dhaheri.

Police confiscated the pills and the accused will be presented before the court.
