Abu Dhabi Police arrest gang with 573,000 Captagon pills
The group was run by a person living outside the country
Abu Dhabi Police arrested four people and seized 573,000 Captagon pills in a drugs haul.
Col Taher Al Dhaheri, director of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police, said they received a tip-off about the gang’s intentions to sell the narcotics in the Emirates.
The group was run by a person living outside the UAE.
“The plan was to catch all the members of the gang at the same time to prevent anyone from escaping punishment,” said Col Al Dhaheri.
Police confiscated the pills and the accused will be presented before the court.
