Sometimes all you need is the most simple of techniques. Here, staff photographer Pawan Singh uses a fast shutter speed to capture a snapshot of pure joy in this child’s day. The water from the fountain in Al Qasba, Sharjah, almost looks like a wall that he’s punching his way through. The image is pin sharp and it’s such a great moment. It’s a simple technique, well executed.
