Razmig Bedirian

Journalist
Location
Razmig Bedirian joined The National in 2019 as Arts & Culture writer, covering books, film, television and theatre. Born in the UAE, Razmig’s first stint with journalism came in the early 2000s when, at the age of 12, he was selected to be a reporter on a children’s programme on Dubai’s Channel 33. Razmig earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the American University of Sharjah in 2012 and went on to work at Xpress and Gulf News, where he covered court, crime and immigration. In 2019, he received a master’s in creative writing from New York University, where he also worked as an adjunct instructor.
