She is an Aziz Foundation and Journalism Diversity recipient, and is interested in climate and social justice, emerging economies, and women’s access to education. Rabina is also an ambassador lead for a national charity empowering girls and women. Her political memoir 'My Hair is Pink Under this Veil' was published in 2021.
