Dubai, United Arab Emirates - May10, 2012. Darwin "Japat" Guevarra a highly regarded Filipino artist, is on his first daring mixed media artwork that measures 9 meters by 3 meters. Japat's ( as his friends fondly call him ) masterpiece were divide into seven parts, then will be connected or combined when displayed. His masterpiece were truly exceptional since he painstakingly draw, cut out, rivited and painted each component to form his inspiration and love for Dubai. The artwork will be featured in the Outdoor Art Project 2012, behind the Executive Towers of Business Bay. ( Jeffrey E Biteng / The National )
