The pressure cooker of a high-profile tennis match can lead many players to lose their tempers and suffer a meltdown when decisions don’t go their way.
It can even happen to those traditionally ice cool players. Roger Federer has blown his fuse a few times, Andy Roddick was the protagonist in an epic meltdown at the US Open, and we all remember Serena Williams’s infamous tirade at a line judge in New York.
Serbian No 2, Viktor Troicki, produced one of the most amusing meltdowns at the Rome Masters when he borrowed the TV camera from the cameraman to show the ball had landed outside the line on the clay court.
Well, Troicki has struck again and has given himself a run for his money with his latest rant, this time during the second round of Wimbledon on Thursday.
With opponent Albert Ramos serving for the match, and the score at 30-30, Troicki did not take kindly to the umpire calling Ramos’s serve in, which produced a match point for the Spaniard.
Ramos duly won the match, and Troicki refused to let his complaint drop.
Youcan watch it in all its glory below.
