The Premier League resumes this week following a three-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
While all first-team players and coaches have been paid full wages during the shutdown in March, the majority of non-playing staff at Newcastle United have been furloughed, including the entire recruitment department, academy staff and ground staff as well as other areas in business and commerce.
Steve Bruce's side are 13th in the table and resume their campaign with a match at home to Sheffield United on Saturday.
