Jane Goodall couldn't help but be an activist
At the age of 26 Jane Goodall decided to go to Tanzania to live amongst Chimpanzees. She left the jungle making the groundbreaking discovery that humans were not the only creature to use tools. The National's culture editor Ashleigh Stewart spoke to the renowned primatologist about how she became an activist, why she's an optimist and what we can do to help save the planet.
