In this highlights episode of the Abtal podcast, Moroccan golfer Ines Laklalech shared with host Reem Abulleil her journey from being a promising junior golfer to becoming the first Moroccan, North African or Arab woman to win a tournament on the Ladies European Tour.

Competing in her first Olympics, Laklalech discusses how that was a long-standing aspiration and a dream she has nurtured since golf's return to the Games in 2016.

After a three-year hiatus from the sport to complete her undergraduate degree, Laklalech explained how her return to competitive golf was marked by initial setbacks, including missed cuts and physical discomfort, and how she eventually found success.
