President Sheikh Mohamed talks by phone with Jordan's King Abdullah II

President Sheikh Mohamed spoke with King Abdullah II of Jordan on Monday.

The leaders talked by phone about “the close fraternal relations between their two countries and joint efforts to expand co-operation in ways that serve the interests of their peoples”, reported state news agency Wam.

They also discussed the latest developments in the region with an emphasis on the importance of the ceasefire in Gaza and the need to work towards peace built on a two-state solution.
