CrossFit athletes who have been struggling to find high-quality functional products in the UAE to up their game needn’t look any further.
Gainz Box, a new sports company in Dubai has brought some of the biggest international brands to kit out serious athletes of this growing fitness trend.
The company has teamed up with US-based Exo sleeves, Natural Grip, Perchmount, Unbroken Designs and Australian company King Kong apparel to bring some of the latest fitness products here.
The King Kong gym bags are made of military-grade nylon with double-stitching to withstand rough use and also come with several separate compartments to store gym shoes, gear and meal bags.
The Exo knee sleeves are anti-microbial and provide compression to support blood flow and reduce swelling from squats and deadlifts.
The Unbroken Designs velcro lifting belts ensure minimum impact on the back and abdomen when moving heavy weights.
Natural Grip prevents skin tear and rips while working out. The grips custom fit based on the ring finger size and last up to six months.
Perchmount makes practical phone holders for athletes who want to track their progress by recording videos of their sessions. The holder is magnetic and can be mounted on metal surfaces with ease.

Farage on Muslim Brotherhood
Nigel Farage told Reform's annual conference that the party will proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood if he becomes Prime Minister.
"We will stop dangerous organisations with links to terrorism operating in our country," he said. "Quite why we've been so gutless about this – both Labour and Conservative – I don't know.
“All across the Middle East, countries have banned and proscribed the Muslim Brotherhood as a dangerous organisation. We will do the very same.”
It is 10 years since a ground-breaking report into the Muslim Brotherhood by Sir John Jenkins.
Among the former diplomat's findings was an assessment that “the use of extreme violence in the pursuit of the perfect Islamic society” has “never been institutionally disowned” by the movement.
The prime minister at the time, David Cameron, who commissioned the report, said membership or association with the Muslim Brotherhood was a "possible indicator of extremism" but it would not be banned.
