A special series of classes is letting yogis perform sun salutations from a sky-high vantage point.

A number of workouts are scheduled to take place at Dubai Frame this month, with the first held on Wednesday, August 12.

Thirty class-goers gathered at the Zabeel Park attraction at 7.30am to take part in the hour-long class, held by instructor Nitai Krishna.

Participants performed a number of poses on mats spread across the Frame's glass-bottomed walkway, which towers 150 metres above the ground.

Two further classes will be held on Wednesday, August 19, and Wednesday, August 26 at 7.30am.

The workouts, organised by Core Direction as part of the Dubai Summer Surprises festival, have a strict capacity of 30 participants so booking is a must.

Instructor Dina Cassir will host the next session, while Neha Duseja will teach the final class. Attendees must bring their own yoga mats and towels, due to safety measures introduced to stem the spread of Covid-19.

Places can be booked via the Core Direction app and cost Dh199 per person.
