Fresh from a flurry on Twitter where she was criticised for insensitive social media posts about her 40th birthday celebrations, Kim Kardashian has proven that she continues to be able to 'break the internet'.
This time, it's thanks to the birthday gift that her husband Kanye West gave her to celebrate entering her fourth decade.
Not one to do things by half, West surprised his wife by gifting her a hologram of her late father, Robert Kardashian, who rose to fame as one of OJ Simpson’s defence attorneys.
Kardashian tweeted about the eerily lifelike image of her father, calling it "a special surprise from heaven".
In the two-minute long illusion, the hologram tells the reality TV star that she is "40 and all grown up. You look beautiful just like when you were a little girl."
He also refers to her as Kimberley, commends her for being a "proud Armenian and dances to the 1961 track Who Put the Bomp by Barry Man.
Commenting on her marriage to West, the Robert Kardashian hologram calls the rapper the "most, most, most, most, most genius man in the whole world."
Kardashian turned 40 on October 21. To celebrate, she rounded up her closest family and friends and took them to a private island for a big party where they could "pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time."
Fans of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star have since urged her to delete what were deemed insensitive tweets during a global pandemic.

What is a virtual bank?
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority defines it as a bank that delivers services through the internet or other electronic channels instead of physical branches. That means not only facilitating payments but accepting deposits and making loans, just like traditional ones. Other terms used interchangeably include digital or digital-only banks or neobanks. By contrast, so-called digital wallets or e-wallets such as Apple Pay, PayPal or Google Pay usually serve as intermediaries between a consumer’s traditional account or credit card and a merchant, usually via a smartphone or computer.
What’s the draw in Asia?
Hundreds of millions of people under-served by traditional institutions, for one thing. In China, India and elsewhere, digital wallets such as Alipay, WeChat Pay and Paytm have already become ubiquitous, offering millions of people an easy way to store and spend their money via mobile phone. Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines are also among the world’s biggest under-banked countries; together they have almost half a billion people.
Is Hong Kong short of banks?
No, but the city is among the most cash-reliant major economies, leaving room for newcomers to disrupt the entrenched industry. Ant Financial, an Alibaba Group Holding affiliate that runs Alipay and MYBank, and Tencent Holdings, the company behind WeBank and WeChat Pay, are among the owners of the eight ventures licensed to create virtual banks in Hong Kong, with operations expected to start as early as the end of the year.

What is an FTO Designation?

Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD)
What is THAAD?
It is considered to be the US' most superior missile defence system.
Production:
It was first created in 2008.
Speed:
THAAD missiles can travel at over Mach 8, so fast that it is hypersonic.
Abilities:
THAAD is designed to take out projectiles, namely ballistic missiles, as they are on their downward trajectory towards their target, otherwise known as the "terminal phase".
Purpose:
To protect high-value strategic sites, such as airfields or population centres.
Range:
THAAD can target projectiles both inside and outside of the Earth's atmosphere, at an altitude of 93 miles above the Earth's surface.
Creators:
Lockheed Martin was originally granted the contract to develop the system in 1992. Defence company Raytheon sub-contracts to develop other major parts of the system, such as ground-based radar.
UAE and THAAD:
In 2011, the UAE became the first country outside of the US to buy two THAAD missile defence systems. It then deployed them in 2016, becoming the first Gulf country to do so.
