I have no idea whether the Slap Chop is as awesome as it looks or not, but it sure appears to be a handy alternative to slicing and dicing. Anyway, that is neither here nor there. The reason for highlighting the Slap Chop in this way is to draw your attention to the handy instructional video, which is right up there with ads for the Bump It and ShamWow when it comes to pure entertainment value. Circa 2008, hosted by Offer "Vince" Shlomi, also known as Headset Vince, it might be one of the best home shopping videos ever, spawning numerous catchphrases including "stop having boring tuna, stop having a boring life"; "life's hard enough as it is, you don't want to cry anymore" and "we're going to make America skinny again, one slap at a time".

Who was Alfred Nobel?
The Nobel Prize was created by wealthy Swedish chemist and entrepreneur Alfred Nobel.
- In his will he dictated that the bulk of his estate should be used to fund "prizes to those who, during the preceding year, have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind".
