Celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early this year with a couple’s master cookery class. Join chef Alessandro Salvatico from Armani/Ristorante at the Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa as he shares his tips and tricks in the kitchen.

The first class, held this Saturday (January 24), will focus on black truffles. The four-hour class will include instruction on how to prepare scallop carpaccio, Sardinian fregola and Angus beef tenderloin – all with black truffles, of course. A three-course lunch is included. For a truly romantic treat, try the second class, held on Valentine’s Day, where you and your partner will learn to prepare sea bream, Canadian lobster and scampi.

There is another class scheduled for March 21. Classes run from 11am to 3pm and are priced at Dh700 per person or Dh1,200 per couple. The class is limited to 12 people. For reservations, call 04 888 3888.
