Paris Fashion Week: Aishwarya Rai, Helen Mirren and more walk L'Oreal's star-studded runway

The beauty giant roped in plenty of famous faces for its catwalk spectacle yesterday

It's become a highlight of the Paris Fashion Week calendar, bringing together stars from across the world to walk the runway.

And L'Oreal Paris's Le Defile show, which took place at the Paris Mint on Saturday night, certainly lived up to expectations for its third iteration.

Actresses Helen Mirren, Aishwarya Rai and Amber Heard were among the famous faces to take to the runway, showing off creations from 10 luxury labels.

The designers who took part in the show included Lebanon's own Elie Saab, along with names such as Balmain, Giambattista Valli, Karl Lagerfeld and Dries Van Noten.

Showcasing the pieces were 32 of the beauty giant's spokespeople, including British singer Cheryl, Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes, Lebanese actress Daniella Rahme, American-Cuban singer Camila Cabello and US actress Eva Longoria, who was joined on the catwalk by her one-year-old son, Santiago.

“L’Oreal Paris is proud to unite an exceptional group of spokespeople to the catwalk, from award-winning actresses and singers to gold-medal athletes and top models, who embody self-empowerment,” the brand said in a statement ahead of the show.

The show formed part of Paris Fashion Week, which continues in the French capital until Monday, September 30.
