Indian media is ablaze with rumours that Dabangg star Salman Khan was recently robbed by four women at a nightclub in the popular Mumbai suburb of Bandra, according to The Express Tribune.
The star, who always has his entourage of body guards was at the club when four women apparently approached him, posing as fans, and clicked pictures with him. But soon after they left, the star turned to the table to find his belongings, wallet, sunglasses and his precious Bajranji Bhaijaan pendant, had disappeared - as had the girls.
The reports says that Khan did not file a police complaint but decided to beef up his security unit, and now goes around with no less than 14 security guards.
Salman's sister, Arpita Khan, refuted the rumour, saying: "It's not easy to rob Salman. He has not visited a nightclub in recent times nor does he carry a wallet."
But film director and producer Nandita Sinnga said the incident took place: "Yes, Salman Khan was robbed and had to increase security from two to 14 men."
