The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix festivities have been extended, with an additional headline gig on Yas Island — headlined by Pitbull.
The American rapper will set the race weekend in motion with a live show at Du Arena on Thursday November 24, the night before race warm-ups begin on the track.
In previous years, the Yasalam After-Race Concerts series has opened on Thursdays with an evening of Arabic language performers.
International headliners already confirmed are The Chemical Brothers on Friday, November 25, Lionel Richie on Saturday, November 26 and Rihanna on Sunday, November 27.
UAE warm-up acts have also been newly revealed, with house duo Arcade 82 supporting The Chemical Brothers, and folk-rock trio Vandalye playing before Lionel Richie.
All After-Race Concerts are only open to race day ticket holders. However more acts have also been announced for Beats on the Beach, the free-to-attend alfresco music festival which takes place on Abu Dhabi Corniche.
UK urban duo Krept and Konan have been added to opening night bill, joining headliners Yeng Constantino and Shamma Hamdan, onstage on Thursday November 24. Meanwhile American hip-hop artist Travis Scott has been announced for Friday November 26’s closing night, appearing on a bill with Nancy Ajram. hursday November 25 will be headlined by Sean Paul and Adham Nabulsi.
