Leading Dubai businessman sets sights on Hollywood

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, chairman of the giant Dubai-based Habtoor Group and one of the UAE’s most successful businessmen, has revealed that he has his sights set on the United States for his next business venture – to become a Hollywood movie producer.

Al Habtoor revealed that will soon travel to Egypt with a team of entertainment industry experts to scout for talent for his latest projects.

“We are in the pre-production stage of two Hollywood films,” he says. “We have been working on them for some time and are very confident that they will be well received.

“Egypt is renowned for its film industry, so we will consider Egyptian actors and actresses for various roles.”
