Reeves's next Excellent Adventure Dust off your air guitar: Keanu Reeves has, in a recent interview with MTV News, hinted that a third Bill and Ted film could be in the pipeline. "I would love to play the role and I'd love to work with Alex and Chris and Ed again," said Reeves, giving thousands of fans a glimmer of hope that the phrase "most excellent" may once again come into common usage. The Alex in question is, of course, Alex Winter, Reeves's co-star in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, the cult 1989 hit that saw Bill S Preston Esq and Ted Logan, two intellectually challenged teenagers from San Dimas, California, set off on a journey into the past to gather important historical figures for their school project. That was followed by Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey in 1991. And then nothing.
Reeves, as he says in the interview, will be 50 if the project appears in 2014, the 25th anniversary of the film; not an age at which many actors can carry off a pudding bowl haircut or convincingly refer to Napoleon as "the short dead dude". Perhaps it's just what he needs, though, to lift him out of his slump. After his Point Break,Matrix heyday, Reeves has become better known recently for the "Sad Keanu" internet meme, in which a picture of him sitting alone on a park bench munching miserably on a sandwich was Photoshopped into various comical situations. Nothing a certain time-travelling phone box can't fix.

The National photo project
Chris Whiteoak, a photographer at The National, spent months taking some of Jacqui Allan's props around the UAE, positioning them perfectly in front of some of the country's most recognisable landmarks. He placed a pirate on Kite Beach, in front of the Burj Al Arab, the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland at the Burj Khalifa, and brought one of Allan's snails (Freddie, which represents her grandfather) to the Dubai Frame. In Abu Dhabi, a dinosaur went to Al Ain's Jebel Hafeet. And a flamingo was taken all the way to the Hatta Mountains. This special project suitably brings to life the quirky nature of Allan's prop shop (and Allan herself!).

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
