International comedy superstar Russell Howard is coming to the UAE for the first time.

The blockbuster British stand-up will perform a string of three dates, on April 20-22, at Dubai College Auditorium.

Howard is one of the United Kingdom’s best-known and most-loved comics, currently holding three million Facebook fans – more than any other British stand-up.

The 36-year-old is a household face as the host of his eponymous topical TV show Russell Howard's Good News.

This upcoming UAE debut will also kick off Howard’s first major tour in three years, entitled Round the World.

His last tour Wonderbox saw Howard become the first comedian to perform four consecutive nights at the Royal Albert Hall. In 2013 it was speculated Howard had earned more than Dh18 million in two years alone, making him one of the UK’s five most bankable comedians.

The gig marks the first in a new comedy series from promoters 117 Live, entitled Knock Knock It’s..., which will host gigs in both the UAE and South East Asia.

Tickets to go on sale soon from www.knockknock.ae, with prices yet to be confirmed.
