Composer AR Rahman has revealed his much anticipated track Marvel Anthem during an Avengers: Endgame promotional event in Mumbai on Monday.

The 52-year-old composer is known for hits such as Jai Ho (from the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack) and Kun Faya Kun. However, this time around, it seems many fans were left feeling disappointed with his latest work. For most, the song was much too cheerful for a film that follows on from such a dark cliffhanger.

Of course, there were also people who did enjoy the tune:

Avengers: Endgame is the highly anticipated sequel to last year's Avengers: Infinity War.  The film will be in theatres on April 26.
