You have only one more day to catch Lebanese artist Joëlle A Kurdy’s solo exhibition at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. She describes her work as a dance between collage and paint with spiritual, inventive ways of looking at a new world. “I collect vintage photographs and books, old and new magazines, that examine the relationship between the now and timelessness.
I move images around until some pieces just feel right together and can create completely new meanings provoking a participant to new and perhaps unexplored territorial puzzles.”
