An interesting line up of artists make up the roster for the summer show set to open at Gallery Isabelle Van Den Eynde this Wednesday. Emirati artist Khalid Al Banna, Pakistani artist Aisha Khalid, and Iranian artists Nargess Hashemi, Zahra Imani and Sara Rahmanian will all show their work in Domestic Affairs, an exhibition that explores the intimacy of everyday life through materiality of textile and manifestation of the body.

Described as a light hearted show with pieces of work such as a floating comfort blanket and abstract circular patterns of cloth, the show sounds like a nice way to round off a strong year of programming for this Alserkal Avenue gallery.

* Domestic Affairs opens Wednesday evening from 8.30pm. www.ivde.net
