The trial of a Kuwaiti man accused of murdering an Omani student in a violent robbery attempt in London is due to take place in July. Badir Rahim Alnazi, 23, is charged with the murder of Mohammed Al Araimi, an Omani student stabbed outside luxury store Harrods in the upmarket Knightsbridge neighbourhood of the British capital. Mr Alnazi is also charged with possession of a blade and attempted robbery. The provisional trial date of July 6 was set at London’s Central Criminal Court on Tuesday. Mr Al Araimi, 20, the son of a prominent businessman, was a student at King’s College London studying politics and economics. He lived in the city. The student collapsed and died outside the high-end department store after the attack, which took place just before midnight on December 5.
