Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan bin Mohammed bin Hasher Al Maktoum has proved an online hit thanks to video footage of her flying an Emirates plane.  

The sky is the limit for Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan bin Mohammed bin Hasher Al Maktoum, who has sent her popularity soaring after flying an Emirates plane to Italy.

An Instagram video of the high-flying member of Dubai's ruling family, who is a First Officer at the airline, taking to the skies received a groundswell of support.

The video, posted by Sheikha Shamsa Al Maktoum, the Aunt of Sheikha Mozah, has been liked by more than 6,000 followers, many of whom lavished praise on the young pilot.

“May Allah bless you Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan bin Mohammed bin Hasher Al Maktoum, you are the pride of the UAE,” posted Sheikha Shamsa.

Sheikha Mozah is shown sitting at the aircraft flight deck, talking to the passengers over the microphone and announcing the arrival to Milan airport in both Arabic and English.

“Good morning ladies and gentlemen this is your first officer Moza Al Maktoum speaking, we are cruising at an altitude of 35,000 feet and we will be descending into Milan airport shortly,” said Sheikha Mozah to passengers.

Sheikha Mozah is the first female pilot in the royal family, earning her wings in April 2016 before completing her maiden flight the following year.
