Forecasters expect the weather to be partly cloudy and hazy at times during the weekend with light rain expected on Thursday over the eastern region.

A fog and mist warning continues over some western areas, with visibility less than 500 metres at times lasting until 9am.

Fresh south-easterly and north–easterly winds are expected during the weekend and might reach 30kph inland and may cause rising dust and poor visibility.

Humidity is likely to increase at night and into Friday morning especially over the far western coast.

Temperatures will be as high as 31°C in Abu Dhabi and 19°C overnight with humidity levels reaching 75 per cent.

Dubai will also be partly cloudy with temperatures ranging between 31°C and 20°C.

Temperatures along the coast will range between 31°C and 14°C, and 21°C to 10°C in the mountains.

Seas will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
