UAE traffic: Two accidents cause delays in Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, two crashes this morning have caused delays on the E20 International Airport Road. Police have cleared the first crash after Sweihan bridge, while two lanes remain closed after the Khalifa City bridge.

A crash on Sheikh Zayed Street on Saada bridge was cleared but delays may remain.

There was heavy traffic on Salam Street (E10) from the Eastern Mangroves to Dalma Street and on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road after the Al Maqta Bridge in Bain Al Jasrain.

There were tailbacks on the E11 and the E311 on the Dubai-Sharjah border.

In the Al Dhafra Region, roads between Madinat Zayed and Liwa will be partially closed tomorrow between 11.30am and 5pm for the Abu Dhabi Tour.

Strong winds will raise dust and reduce visibility today and motorists have been advised to drive with caution.
