Abu Dhabi Police have issued a safety warning over the dangers of jumping a red light by posting a horrific crash video.
The video reached around 23,000 views and included two clips of two separate accident showing the devastating results of drivers failing to stop when the lights turn red.
Damages to vehicles are seen happening in both accidents after the drivers decide to turn left, ignoring a red light.

The video is part of a traffic safety campaign called ‘Darb Al Salama’ to remind motorists to pay attention to traffic lights, keep an eye on the road and follow the traffic rules and regulations for their own safety and of other road users.
“The penalty for light vehicles jumping the red signal is Dh1.000 along with 12 black points, and the vehicle will be impounded for 30 days,” a police spokesman said.
Heavy vehicles face a Dh3.000 fine for the same violation, and a one-year suspension of their driving licence.
