The latest daredevil Jetman stunt to emerge on social media has been posted by the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed.

Jetman Dubai, together with adventure sports company XDubai, is a collection of thrill-seekers who wear jet-propelled wings to perform adrenaline-fuelled feats around the world.

Soaring through the skies like Marvel superhero Iron Man, the group have posted videos flying alongside an Emirates A380, above the Palm Jumeirah and also through the skyscrapers of Dubai Marina.

The acrobatic team launch themselves from aircraft and are able to land following their flights using conventional parachutes.

Days after delivering his speech on the future of cities at the World Government Summit via hologram in Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan posted the ‘Future is here’, alongside a video of the Jetman team.

It is not clear whether he was one of the group taking part in the stunt. His post has been viewed more than 10,000 times.

A documentary following Jetman Dubai’s journey to launching the first solo flight using jet-engine powered wings is set to be released this year.

The Crown Prince is well known for his love of adrenaline sports, and regularly posts videos on social media of him skydiving, jet-skiing, wing-walking on aircraft, climbing and diving.
