Khalifa Foundation distributes Ramadan aid packages in Tunisia and Bahrain

The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has distributed more than 200 Ramadan aid packages in El Kef, north Tunisia, the state news agency Wam reported on Wednesday.

In total, 2,000 food baskets will be provided during Ramadan, with help from the Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity.

A team from the foundation also distributed 40 baskets to needy families in Jerissa.

To celebrate Ramadan, the foundation also handed out 1,174 food packages in Bahrain.

The UAE Embassy in Bahrain helped to dispense the aid.
