The team behind preparations for the UAE's Golden Jubilee is looking for "thinkers, doers and storytellers" to take up fellowships in areas such as communications and project management.

The Year of the 50th Fellowship programme is open to UAE citizens and residents, and offers paid work experience.

The project will run for 11 months, from June until next April, with the aim of giving young people the opportunity to gain experience in project management, design, communications, storytelling and liaising with senior partners.

Detailed descriptions of the positions and requirements can be found on the website. Applications can be made through the site until June 7.

Celebrations marking the Golden Jubilee will run from April 6 to March 31 next year.

The programme includes a series of initiatives to celebrate the UAE’s history, values and achievements as the nation moves towards its centennial in 2071.
