A UAE delegation led by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed was received by King Abdullah II of Jordan on Saturday.
Sheikh Tahnoun, the UAE's National Security Adviser, spoke with the king on bilateral issues including investments and economic co-operation.
Discussions also covered regional matters that are of mutual interest to the two nations.
Sheikh Tahnoun passed on greetings from the President Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
King Abdullah wished the people of the UAE prosperity and progress.
On Wednesday, the Emirati delegation visited Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in a trip described as "historic and positive" by Dr Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to the UAE President.
