The UAE  will be mainly sunny on Thursday, with the probability of some clouds forming over the east of the country.

Top temperatures could hit 45°C in Dubai and 46°C in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, the National Centre of Meteorology forecasts.

Humidity will increase during the night and early on Friday.

In some parts of the country, particularly in coastal regions, humidity levels are expected to hit as high as 90 per cent, the weather bureau said.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
