The weather in Dubai on Thursday will be clear and sunny but with a light breeze.

Temperatures are predicted to hit 27°C in the afternoon, accompanied by winds of up to 18kph.

Night time temperatures are expected to drop to 17°C by Friday morning.

The National Centre of Meteorology is forecasting fair conditions for the country in general, but warned that winds could pick up some dust.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of clear skies and light winds.

Peak temperatures are expected to reach 26°C in the early afternoon, with lighter breezes of up to 16kph.
