UAE weather: Chance of rain for Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Weather conditions in Dubai on Sunday will be mostly sunny but with a chance of rain showers.

Rain is expected in the early evening, with temperatures peaking at 28°C in the afternoon accompanied by light winds of up to 18kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of sunny intervals giving way to rain showers and moderate winds.

Thundery showers are forecast to hit in the early evening, lasting into Monday and possibly continuing well into the next week.

Peak temperatures are also expected to reach 28°C, with lighter winds of up to 16kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is forecasting cloudy conditions with a chance of rain for much of the UAE on Sunday.

The centre says conditions in the Arabian Gulf will be moderate to rough.
