From police superboats to jet pack firefighters, the emergency services showed off their hardware during an evening display this Eid weekend.

Dubai Police deployed jet ski patrol officers and other marine teams during a tour of the Dubai Canal.

Crowds gathered on the new canal bridge, which connects Business Bay to Jumeirah, to watch on Saturday night.

Among the highlights was a display by a Dubai Civil Defence firefighter, using a flyboard to hover high above the water.

The authorities first unveiled the Dolphin - which allows marine-based fire crews to tackle blazes - earlier this year.
