Focal Point: Shark Tale

While diving near Lima Rock in Musandam, Oman, staff photographer Christopher Pike had a close encounter with a gentle giant: a whale shark. As the massive creature passed over him, he captured this image showing the whale shark’s commensal friend, the remora fish, many of which attach themselves to the fish.
