She covers diplomacy, politics, conflicts and crises in Turkey and across the Middle East, and has won multiple awards for her reporting on topics ranging from missing persons in Iraq to the region's climate crises. A native English speaker, she also speaks fluent French, Arabic and Farsi. Her Turkish is improving.
