      Ali Mahmood

      Location
      Ali Mahmood is a journalist based in Aden, he has been covering the war in Yemen for The National since 2017. He's reported from the frontlines in Yemen, in addition to covering economics, climate change, health and other areas. He has written for The Daily Telegraph, Fair Observer, Jeune Afrique and South 24 Centre. Ali survived the December 2020 attack that targeted Aden airport, he was covering the arrival of Yemen's power-sharing government.
