Belarus Olympic sprinter Krystsina Tsimanouskaya has detailed the events that led to her fleeing from Tokyo to Poland. The 24-year-old said men from her team had ordered her to return to Belarus, feigning injury. She said the men warned her that she could "get some problems" in her home country if she refused to return. She sought protection from Tokyo 2020 staff before boarding a flight to Warsaw.
