One of biggest strengths of AppleTV+’s flagship show, besides its brilliant cast, is its ability to mine the zeitgeist for gripping storylines. From the Covid-19 pandemic to the US Capitol insurrection and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the series about a network broadcast morning news programme has seen it all.
Season four, which begins two years after the events at the end of the third season, will grapple with a polarised America and a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups. Returning alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon will be Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre and fan favourite Jon Hamm.
