Medeor 24x7 Hospitals in Abu Dhabi are holding a series of free consultations, lectures and activities in June to help families stay healthy during Ramadan.

A gastroenterology campaign, which ends on June 16, offers advice on what and how to eat during non-fasting periods, while the hospital’s Department of Internal Medicine will run a series of events from June 19 to 23, including free consultations on managing lifestyle-related diseases, such as hypertension (high blood pressure) and diabetes, as well as allergies.

The final campaign, from June 27 to 30, will focus on children’s health during Ramadan and how to minimise the effects of fasting on their lifestyle and mental and physical behaviour.

“The sessions will be open to the community and the discussions by specialists will cover specific conditions, such as weight programme training, diabetes, autism and asthma in children,” said Pieter Slabberts, CEO of Medeor 24x7 Hospital Abu Dhabi.

For more information on the free consultations at Medeor 24x7 Hospitals in Abu Dhabi, Yas Mall and Al Ain, call 800 900 600.
