Plan to take part in the first Cycle for Health UAE event on Saturday this week, which includes a leisurely 1.9-kilometre ride around the National Stadium and nearby roads at Zayed Sports City. Additionally, as part of its Love Your Heart campaign for World Health Day, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will conduct health screenings, exercise information sessions, learn-to-ride programme for children and adults as well as heart-healthy cooking demonstrations. There will be bicycles and helmets available for complimentary use, bouncy castles, a healthy food truck and more. The event will run on the last Saturday of every month.

The Laughter Factory is back with shows in new venues across the country, including Al Ain and Ras Al Khalimah. Along with him, see Englishman Paul Tonkinson, who brings a distinctive physicality, and impressions, to the stage and the Canadian Peter White, a former computer engineer who found that he preferred comedy.

Archaeologist Dr Mark Beech will present the lecture Why Studying the Past is Important, taking the audience on a journey to Abu Dhabi 65 million years ago, when dinosaurs were already extinct and the land that is now the UAE was under the sea. Learn about how the landscape was formed, the discovery of fossilised animals and plants and the geological deposits found in the Al Dhafra Region.
