In the film Attraction, an alien ship has an accident in space and crash lands in a populated area of Moscow, killing hundreds of people. Yulya (Irina Starshenbaum), the daughter of a military colonel, and her friends sneak into the crash site to make contact with the alien, Hekon, who tells them he has come to Earth for research and is looking for a specific device. But humans in the area make their feelings clear – that they want the alien to leave. Sci-fi film, also starring Alexander Petrov, Rinal Mukhametov and Oleg Menshikov. English with Arabic subtitles.

The National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah offers visitors the opportunity to experience the archaeological, historical and ethnographical objects of RAK, many of which were donated by the ruling Al Qasimi family and residents of the emirate. The former fort was designed to fend off the British during the Arabian Gulf Campaign from 1809 and was reopened as a museum in 1987.

Catch a screening of the film A Tale of Shadows, a thriller written and directed by Emirati filmmaker Tariq Alkazim, who studied at New York Film Academy. The story focuses on the gardener, a poor and hardworking man, who lands a job at a farm where he meets Garet, who holds secrets to the farm's past. The gardener begins to see strange things, such as a man with a pocket watch, a woman in a white robe and shadowy figures roaming the farm. When he tries to find out what is happening, he discovers that his destiny has been waiting for him in unexpected ways.
