W Motors, arguably the UAE's most iconic carmaker, launched its flagship showroom/gallery/boutique concept in Dubai yesterday at City Walk 2 Boulevard.

Company chairman/chief executive Ralph Debbas was on hand to speak at the opening, which showcased several of the company's vehicles.

Alongside the Lykan HyperSport hypercar, the brand's new supercar the Fenyr SuperSport was on display, as well as electric MPV the Iconiq Seven, which is the first fruit of W Motors' sister company, Iconiq Motors. The latter brand specialises in electric vehicles, with an eye firmly on the Chinese market.

The company shot to wider fame in 2015 when the HyperSport made an appearance in Fast & Furious movie Furious 7, in a scene that saw the vehicle jump between buildings at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi.
