Head to a French festival in Dubai this Saturday

Need a reason to eat French food? Head to Apéritif à la française this weekend — an event that celebrates the best aspects of French food and French culture. This the first consumer edition of the event in Dubai (an event dedicated to food professionals happened in Dubai last summer).

Guests in Dubai will be treated to cooking demonstrations where they’ll learn step by step recipe instructions along with cooking tips and tricks from professional chefs. There will be French food tastings and French beverages on offer. There is also a kids’ corner with activities. Live French music will ensure the mood stays festive. Several of Dubai’s French restaurants will also be on site offering food and promotional offers to guests.

Apéritif à la française is a global event that entertains food-lovers in 10 cities around the world each year including Dubai, New York, Hong Kong, Sao Paulo, Paris and Tokyo.

Apéritif à la française Dubai is a one-day only event. The doors open at noon on Saturday, January 31 and the party continues to 10pm. Held at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Amphitheatre, the event is free to all. Once inside, visitors can purchase food and beverages with cash only.
