The video team at Sotheby's has produced footage that provides a unique look behind the scenes of an extraordinary event: the House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion exhibition. The event, which has been sponsored by Gucci, is ongoing at the stately Chatsworth House in Derbyshire in the United Kingdom.

Exhibition creator Lady Laura Burlington, supermodel Stella Tennant and Vogue's Hamish Bowles will talk you through 500 years of fashion, accompanied by bold shots and dramatic music. The presentation has been broken up into three episodes, all of which you can watch below.

Women from Chatsworth's Cavendish family have always been at the forefront of fashion, and the collection on display reflects this, all the way from rebellious statement pieces created by Alexander Mcqueen and Vivienne Westwood to the best picks from haute couture.

As well as fashion, the exhibition - and the videos - will display recreations of the family's most precious jewels, by CW Sellors Fine Jewellery. You will also get to hear a few tidbits of gossip about the aristocratic family.

House Style at Chatsworth House runs until October 22, 2017 .
