At any awards ceremony, the best-dressed lists are typically always dominated by women. After all, how many times can you give a thumbs up to a classic black tux?
However, that isn't to say that Hollywood's leading men aren't afraid of taking fashion risks.
And, while Brad Pitt might not instantly come to mind when you think of adventurous male dressers, a look back through his style files proves that he's not always about keeping it classic.
From beanies on the red carpet to linen suits, leather trousers and some very questionable sunglasses, the Fight Club actor's style has taken as many twists and turns throughout the years as his hairstyles.
Pitt, 56, first burst on to the scene in 1991 after a role in Thelma & Louise, and has proved himself a versatile screen presence over the ensuing three decades.

Who was Alfred Nobel?
The Nobel Prize was created by wealthy Swedish chemist and entrepreneur Alfred Nobel.
- In his will he dictated that the bulk of his estate should be used to fund "prizes to those who, during the preceding year, have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind".
- Nobel is best known as the inventor of dynamite, but also wrote poetry and drama and could speak Russian, French, English and German by the age of 17. The five original prize categories reflect the interests closest to his heart.
