Amazon Prime Day is coming to the UAE for the first time

It's been mere weeks since Amazon.ae launched Prime in the UAE, but the country hasn't yet been able to benefit from its full range of perks. Come July, those perks will finally be available to all, as Prime Day comes to the Emirates.

For the first time in the UAE, Amazon will host a two-day mega sale, which will run from July 15 to 16. So, expect 48 hours of website-wide discounts, limited-time offers and brand new entertainment. Prime Day starts at midnight on Monday, July 15.

There is set to be one million deals globally, spread across TVs, kitchen, grocery, toys, fashion, furniture, Kindle e-readers and everyday essentials.

Amazon Prime launched on June 11 in the UAE, joining the USA, UK, Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, India, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria and Australia, as other countries with Prime around the world.

Amazon Prime membership is not just about the Prime Day discounts, other perks include:

  • Free next day delivery with no minimum purchase
  • 50 per cent discount on same day delivery on selected products in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain and Ajman
  • Free delivery in six to nine 9 business days for international orders over Dh100 on Prime eligible products shipped from Amazon US
  • Unlimited access to Prime Video and Twitch Prime, the gaming platform
